KNB Design Co. is a St. Petersburg–based residential design studio creating thoughtful, highly personal interiors and outdoor environments throughout Tampa Bay.

From ground-up residences and renovations to furnishings and outdoor living, the studio approaches each home as a complete expression of how its clients want to live. Architecture, materials, lighting, furnishings, and the relationship between indoors and out are considered as part of a cohesive whole—resulting in spaces that feel distinctive, collected, and deeply personal.

KRISTEN NICOLE BULLARD

Principal Designer + Founder

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Kristen comes from a family rooted in construction, development, and design—an early influence that ultimately shaped her career. With more than a decade of experience in interior design and architecture, she brings a thoughtful approach that balances strong design intuition with an understanding of how spaces are planned, detailed, and built.

With more than a decade in the design industry, Kristen believes that good design requires constant curiosity. She continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing education, industry research, and hands-on experience—staying closely engaged with evolving materials, building methods, products, and technologies. This balance of continued learning and real-world experience informs both the creative and technical sides of her work.

Her design perspective is rooted in natural materials, layered textures, unexpected details, and a relaxed sense of sophistication. Rather than designing toward a particular formula or trend, Kristen is drawn to spaces that feel collected over time—beautiful and considered, but never overly designed.

Travel is a constant source of inspiration. Experiences throughout Europe, Mexico, Morocco, and beyond continue to influence the way she thinks about material, color, proportion, craftsmanship, and the relationship between a home and its surroundings.
